Welcome to Catarina Lopes trading as The Saudade Studio ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website https://www.thesaudadestudio.com/ and our services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. For any questions, please contact us.

1. ​​Services
   - The Saudade Studio provides bespoke branding and Wix website design services, including brand identity design, custom website builds, audits and brand strategy sessions. Details of specific project inclusions will be outlined in a written work agreement provided to each client prior to project commencement.
    

2. Payments & Deposits
   - All projects require a 50% deposit to secure your start date. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the work and before the final handover of files or launch of the website. Invoices must be paid upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing.
    

3. Refund Policy
   - Due to the customised and time-intensive nature of our creative design services, all payments are non-refundable. This is because our time and resources have been committed to start designing your project.
    

4. Revisions 
   - Each design package will includes a certain amount of rounds of revisions, as outlined in your project agreement. Additional revisions beyond this will encountered an additional fee and must be approved in writing before work begins.
    

5. Client Responsibilities
   - Clients are expected to provide all content, images, copy, and branding assets in a timely manner. Delays in providing content may result in project delays and may affect the timeline for completion. The Saudade Studio is not responsible for delays caused by missing materials or lack of communication.
    

6. Project Timelines
   - We will provide an estimated start and completion date upon project booking. While we aim to meet deadlines, these may shift based on client responsiveness and revision rounds. Timely feedback is essential for maintaining momentum and completing your project on schedule.
    

7. Ownership & Portfolio Use
   - Upon full payment, you will own the final design files and website. The Saudade Studio retains the right to showcase your completed project in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
    

8. Website Platform
   - We design exclusively using Wix. By working with us, you agree to build and manage your website through the Wix platform and pay your website hosting fee and domain fee directly to Wix.
    

9. Confidentiality
   - All sensitive business information shared during our work together will be kept confidential. We will never share your materials or ideas with third parties without your consent.
    

10. Liability
    - While we do our best to ensure that your website functions properly and is designed to best practices, The Saudade Studio is not liable for third-party platform outages, technical errors, or changes in external service provider policies (such as Wix or Google).
     

11. Legal Jurisdiction
    - These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal proceedings will be handled within this jurisdiction.
     

12. Changes to These Terms
    We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
