Story
I’m Catarina, a Brand and Website Designer.
Originally from Portugal, I moved to London to study Business and Marketing before working with small businesses across the world.
My passion is helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into brands.
The Saudade Studio is your creative partner, the place where your dream brand moves from a spark of an idea into a concept, and then finally comes to life with soul and strategy.
About Me
Beyond design, I’ve always had a creative streak. At one point, I even ran a little side hustle selling baked goodies at Surrey markets (I still love experimenting in the kitchen!).
I am addicted to coffee. I am talking 4-6 cups a day. When I get the chance, I escape to Sesimbra, my coastal hometown in Portugal. That’s where you’ll usually find me: laptop open, ocean views, coffee in hand.
In my free time, I’m either boxing at the gym, reading something inspiring, or chasing new ideas. A few favourites from my bookshelf are:

The Meaning of
"Sow-dha-dhe"
I wanted a link to my Portuguese roots, and the place I am from, Sesimbra. My own branding has been inspired by Sesimbra's natural beauty. From the crystal clear waters to the green rocky mountains that surround it.
I called this design studio Saudade [ sow - dha -dhe ] Portuguese noun, because it's a special Portuguese word that does not translate to any other language.
It describes a deep longing, a kind of bittersweet love for something that stays with you. That’s exactly how I want people to feel about their brands: a sense of connection so strong, it lingers and inspires.
