Client's Background
This is Born Confident and Laura’s story.
Laura’s journey into antenatal education began after experiencing two very different births herself. During her first pregnancy, she felt underprepared and unaware of the choices available to her. But with her second, everything changed.
Through deeper birth education and hypnobirthing, she discovered the power of informed choice, calm preparation and trusting her body.
That transformation inspired Laura to create Born Confident, a private antenatal education experience designed to help women and their birth partners feel calm, informed and empowered throughout pregnancy and birth.
Her approach is deeply personal, evidence-based and rooted in compassion, offering bespoke support that goes far beyond a traditional antenatal course.

The Design Brief
During the discovery phase, Laura shared her vision for a brand that felt calm, grounded but with a premium touch, while still remaining warm and approachable.
She wanted Born Confident to move away from the overly “airy fairy” stereotypes often associated with hypnobirthing and instead position itself as modern, informative and deeply supportive.
Inspired by Laura’s story and her nurturing yet confident approach, we created a brand identity centred around empowerment, trust and human connection.
Soft earthy neutrals, elegant typography, and subtle symbolic details work together to reflect the emotional depth of pregnancy while maintaining a refined and elevated feel.

The website designed for Born Confident was created to feel calming, reassuring, and easy to navigate during what can often feel like an overwhelming season of life.
Using soft earthy tones, spacious layouts, and storytelling-led copy, the website gently guides expectant parents through Laura’s courses and philosophy while building trust and emotional connection.
Every page was strategically designed to balance warmth with professionalism, helping visitors feel supported, informed and confident enough to invest in personalised antenatal care.
The result is a website that feels deeply aligned with Laura’s mission: a safe, empowering space where women feel seen, prepared and supported as they approach birth and beyond.
